Second Thessalonians 3:3 says, “But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil”. We moved to Georgia to help plant a church out of faith, leaving behind a job, friends, and a great deal of furniture (not everything would fit into a 20-foot truck). However, God is good and He is faithful. I’m happy to report that all of our needs have been provided for. In the natural, we should not be able to make ends meet, however, with God’s supernatural provision, all is well.
Our once empty living room, now has furniture. In fact, we’ve had fun treasure hunting for furniture and found a great deal on a high-quality used sofa. I also received a new grill as a birthday gift and have thoroughly enjoying using it. Funds for our bills, including rent, power, car, food, and more have come through. We’ve had unexpected checks arrive in the mail, and new contracts for Roxie’s writing business have come in, in addition to the support we receive from our ministry partners.
Other needs besides funding are being met as well – we are starting to make friends and cooler weather is setting in. Pastor Ryan arrived in October to lead the church plant, Spirit and Truth Fellowship, and is a huge blessing in our lives.
God is so good. He is faithful all the time. I encourage you to step out in faith where you are called. God will meet your needs and more because He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above anything you can think or imagine.
