God is good ALL the time!

Second Thessalonians 3:3 says, “But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil”. We moved to Georgia to help plant a church out of faith, leaving behind a job, friends, and a great deal of furniture (not everything would fit into a 20-foot truck). However, God is good and He is faithful. I’m happy to report that all of our needs have been provided for. In the natural, we should not be able to make ends meet, however, with God’s supernatural provision, all is well.

Our once empty living room, now has furniture. In fact, we’ve had fun treasure hunting for furniture and found a great deal on a high-quality used sofa. I also received a new grill as a birthday gift and have thoroughly enjoying using it. Funds for our bills, including rent, power, car, food, and more have come through. We’ve had unexpected checks arrive in the mail, and new contracts for Roxie’s writing business have come in, in addition to the support we receive from our ministry partners.

Other needs besides funding are being met as well – we are starting to make friends and cooler weather is setting in. Pastor Ryan arrived in October to lead the church plant, Spirit and Truth Fellowship, and is a huge blessing in our lives.

God is so good. He is faithful all the time. I encourage you to step out in faith where you are called. God will meet your needs and more because He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above anything you can think or imagine.

Here We Come…to Savannah!

Despite three faulty tires on the auto transport for our uhaul, and of course the exhaustive process of packing up an entire household, my family and I drove from Colorado, across Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and finally made it to Savannah, Georgia on August 6, 2019. We are now going through the process of unpacking boxes, getting furniture, and setting up our home.

So what brought us to Savannah? The Holy Spirit led me to partner with Pastor Ryan Skarka to plant Spirit and Truth Fellowship in Savannah, Georgia. Pastor Ryan just graduated from Third-Year Ministry School at Charis Bible College. He is one of the most gifted Bible teachers I’ve heard. I got to know him when we went on a mission trip together to Brazil and am blessed to be his friend and to minister with him. God put Savannah on Ryan’s heart and after prayerful consideration, I felt led to join him on this adventure.

Savannah is actually a sort of homecoming for my family—my wife and I lived in Savannah nearly 20 years ago when we were first married. It is a beautiful location, a city full of awesome people. We’re excited about bringing the good news to this area along with intimate worship. While many people in this area know of God, with the legalistic culture that dominates churches here, they may not know God. I hope to help change that. I will be starting a Charis Bible Study in Savannah in the near future, so if you’re in the area, be sure to contact me for more information.

I believe that the best foundation for anything in life is the Word of God. We’re standing on 2 Samuel 7:10, “Moreover, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime” as the foundation for our move. We appreciate you agreeing with us that our transition will be peaceful, and that our move will be fruitful. We believe obeying God puts us in the best place possible.

During this season of building our ministry in a new geographic area, your support is greatly appreciated. If you believe in our vision of intimacy with the Father, I strongly encourage you to prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner. You may become an automatic monthly partner at: patreon.com/Treyhebsonministries.com. Also, to sow a one-time gift, go to: paypal.me/treyhebsonministries. Together we are spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through God’s gift of music and worship. It’s great to have YOU along on this journey. We truly thank you for your prayers and support.
